12.8. Details of a back suspension bracket


1. Lift a back part of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove a wheel.
3. Unscrew a nut of draft of the stabilizer on a rack.
4. Disconnect from a rack ABS system conducting.
5. Get a bracket and disconnect from a rack a brake hose.
6. Unscrew two nuts (are specified by shooters) fastenings are resistant to the case of a nave and disconnect a rack.
7. For access to the top fastening of a rack disassemble a back of a back seat (see subsection 13.23).
8. On cars a sedan remove the back shelf.
9. Remove an overlay of a rug.
10. Hook and remove a plastic cover of fastening of a rack (shooters specified nuts of the top fastening of a back rack).
11. Ask the assistant to support a rack from below, unscrew three nuts of fastening of a rack, lower and get a rack.


1. Clamp the lower part of a rack in a vice through laying.
2. Screw nuts on hairpins, упершись in hairpins the lever, release the top nut of a rod of the shock-absorber. Completely a nut not to turn on.
3. Compress a spring by means of the adaptation so that the top plate could rotate by hand.
4. Turn out a rod nut, holding a rod from a provorachivaniye.
5. Remove washers, laying, the top cap and a plate of a spring.
6. Get a spring, a dust cover and the rubber buffer.
7. Check a condition of the details, the worn-out and damaged details replace.
8. Check existence of a leak from the shock-absorber and a rod condition on all length.
9. Check existence on the case of cracks and damages.
10. Check rack work, at first having put forward a rod for all length, and then moving and putting forward a rod on 50–100 mm. Smooth resistance to rod moving should be felt.
11. If traces of a leak, mechanical damages are observed, and movement of a rod is accompanied by "breakthroughs", the rack is subject to replacement. It is possible to establish a spring and all details on a new rack.
12. Examine a spring.
13. If strong corrosion of a spring, a crack on rounds, deformation or any signs of a doubtful condition are found, a spring replace.
14. Clamp a rack in a vice and establish the rubber buffer and a dust cover.
15. Compress and establish a spring so that color marking was turned down. The termination of a round of a spring should come into plate deepening.
16. Establish the top buffer and a plate, having correctly arranged a spring round in a plate. At installation of a rack of the shooter on the top plate it should be turned in the cross-section direction outside (And – the cross-section direction, In – towards a forward part).
17. Collect the top fastening of a rack, observing an order of details, and wrap a new nut of a rod.
18. Tighten a nut with the set moment, holding a rod.
19. Remove the adaptation for spring compression.


1. Establish new laying of the top fastening of a rack.
2. Establish a rack so that hairpins entered into body openings, and the groove on the top plate was turned in the cross-section direction outside.
3. Replace and tighten nuts with the set moment.
4. Combine openings in a rack and in the nave case, tighten new nuts and bolts with the set moment (nuts should be turned on a car course).
5. Attach draft of the stabilizer and tighten a new nut with the set moment.
6. The hinge of draft of the stabilizer should be located on the center of the arch described by draft at its shift. In this situation the hinge should be completely unloaded.
7. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
