The Nissan company was formed in 1925 as a result of consolidation of two companies - Kwaishinsha Co (letting out Dat cars) and Jitsuo Jidosha Co and Dat Jidosha Seizo Co was called. At first the neogenic firm let out all vehicles under the Datsun brand. The first car was presented in 1931 - Nissanocar (1934), successful and economic model. During the Second World War the firm made, generally lorries and other equipment for army. After occupation plants were stopped and production stopped till 1955.

Again having developed production in the 1960th years, the company of the first of all Japanese automakers realized benefit of the American and European sales market. The sport car of Nissan Datsun 240 Z created for sale in the USA in 1969, escaped on the first place in a rating of sales in the class. In the late seventies Nissan undertook production of cars of the highest group of middle class, without having forgotten and about SUVs - Nissan Patrol is well-known in Russia as "an eternal jeep". Nissan opened subsidiaries in the United States, Germany, Australia, Peru, Mexico.
